- Formerly the Section Chief of Neurology at Baptist Medical Center, Dr. Asad decided to start an Independent Neurology Clinic. He completed Medical School at the Dow University of Health Sciences. He trained in Nuclear medicine at the Harvard medical school joint program of Nuclear medicine in Boston and is board certified by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine. He trained in Neurology at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta and is Board Certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. In November 2018, Dr. Asad became Board Certified in Traumatic Brain Injury. Aside from this, Dr. Asad is well versed in a number of symposiums, seminars, and certifications with major names such as: Harvard, Mayo Clinic and WJCT to name a few. With experience as a Captain in the United States Army Reserves, Medical Corp. he understands what it takes to be an efficient leader and care giver.
