Dr. Syed Ahmed is a Chief of Anesthesiology and Pain Management service based in Dallas, TX, with subspecialty expertise in critical care medicine. He completed fellowships in both cardiovascular disease and critical care medicine at UMass Chan Medical School, following a residency in anesthesiology at Westchester Medical Center and an internship in internal medicine at the University of North Dakota. He graduated from Dow University of Health Sciences in 1991. Dr. Ahmed is experienced in critical care medicine, cardiac surgery anesthesiology, vascular surgery anesthesiology, and major vascular procedures.
