  • Dr. Sydney Rice is a pediatrician based in Tucson, AZ, specializing in developmental-behavioral pediatrics. She earned her medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine in 1991 and completed her pediatrics residency there from 1991 to 1995. She later pursued a fellowship in developmental-behavioral pediatrics at the University of Virginia Medical Center. Dr. Rice has been a long-standing faculty member at the University of Arizona College of Medicine, where she currently serves as a professor, and holds a joint appointment at the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health. She has experience as a staff pediatrician and served as the medical director at the Kluge Children’s Rehabilitation Center. Her research includes work on attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder and autism spectrum disorders, with several publications in reputable journals. Dr. Rice has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Women of Influence award in 2016 and several honors from the American Academy of Pediatrics.
