Summary
- Raphael Campo wrote, "...since the moment that I realized I shared the world with other people, sometimes in spite of myself and sometimes with the fullest of hearts, I have felt compelled to search for some way to give."
My career in medicine is my way to give back as a healer, teacher, and advocate in the community I serve. Looking through my profile, you will see that my interests and experiences tend to revolve around human identity and social justice issues, a trend which I hope to continue and expand upon as a psychiatrist.
I seek to bring about change as a physician, on an individual and societal level. I always seek to remember what Jordan Cohen once wrote, "We should not accept without challenge what we know to be abominable just because it appears to be inevitable."
