Summary
- I am a licensed physician, board certified in Urgent Care medicine, with ten years of experience as a US Navy General Medical Officer. After earning my MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Management, I have also gained experience at HCA as an Assistant Vice President working on quality, data analytics, process improvement and EHR optimization. Recently, I worked at a start-up urgent care with a dual role as a practicing urgent care physician and Chief of Clinical Operations. I'm now the Medical Director for the Student Health Clinic at Georgia State University, the eighth largest university in the country. It is a great blend of administrative and clinical medicine and allows me to care for an underserved population that really is striving to grow and learn--reminiscient in many ways of the Marines and Sailors for whom I provided care while "growing up" as a provider.
