Summary

Dr. Susan Stegeman is an ophthalmologist based in Springfield, IL. She completed her medical education at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, followed by a flexible residency at Baptist Medical Centers, then completed a residency in ophthalmology at the Combined Program of the Eye Foundation Hospital and the University of Alabama. She retired from practice at the Springfield Clinic Eye Institute, having practiced in Springfield for nearly four decades. She served terms as Chair of the department of Ophthalmology at St. John’s Hospital. Dr. Stegeman served as the President of the Illinois Society of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
