Summary

• Susan McKim is a board-certified Physician Assistant who joined Dermatologist Medical Group of North County in 2021 and has over 13 years of specialized dermatology experience. She received her undergraduate degrees from UC San Diego, where she double majored in Biology and Psychology and has an area of concentration in French culture. Susan earned her Master of Science Degree in Physician Assistant practice from the Chicago Medical School/Finch University of Health Sciences in 2000. She also received the departmental thesis research award. She is members of California Academy of Physician Assistants and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistant. She completed her dermatology diplomate fellowship in 2020. Her clinical expertise and interests include skin cancer screening and dermatologic surgery, medical dermatology (acne, eczema, and psoriasis) and cosmetic dermatology, including Botox, chemical peels and laser therapy. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, swimming, traveling, gardening, boogey boarding with her kids and walking her dogs on the beaches of Del Mar.
