- I am a Professor of Internal Medicine & Medical Humanities, the Associate Dean for Human and Organizational Potential, and the Chair of the Department of Medical Humanities at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. I am a clinician educator and active in advocacy work striving to improve the profession of medicine such that equity and well-being are the goal that allows individuals and organizations to reach their full potential.
