Dr. Sunkaru Touray is a pulmonologist based in The Woodlands, TX, with subspecialties in critical care medicine. He completed his medical education at the University of Science and Technology SOM and pursued further training in internal medicine and pulmonary disease at UMass Chan Medical School. He also holds an MSc in Epidemiology from the University of Basel and has trained in clinical research at Harvard Medical School. Currently, he practices Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care at multiple hospitals, including Houston Methodist and Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center, and is the founder of Permian Health Lung Institute. Dr. Touray has contributed to numerous publications related to pulmonary diseases and critical care and has been recognized with several awards, such as the Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and the American Thoracic Society Minority Trainee Award.
