Summary
- As a dedicated medical professional, I have had the privilege of contributing to the field of Anesthesiology and Critical Care in various capacities. Currently serving as a Professor at UCLA, my focus lies in advancing medical education and research in this dynamic field. My commitment to excellence extends beyond academia, as I also hold the position of Surgical ICU and Simulation Lab Director at the Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System. In this role, I lead initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care through innovative simulation techniques and overseeing critical care in the surgical ICU. On top of this, I am also a lead physician at VAGLA Tele ICU and Tele ICU hub (VA Minneapolis). My research interest is on the use of technology for minimizing error in critical health care. With a wealth of experience in both academic and clinical settings, I continue to strive for excellence in medical education and patient outcomes, combining my roles to bridge the gap between theory and practice in Anesthesiology and Critical Care.
