I completed my residency training in Internal Medicine at Texas Tech Health Science Center and fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology at the University of Southern California (USC).
I began my medical training in China where I graduated from Shandong Medical University, completed my Internal Medicine residency, Chief residency and worked as a faculty attending physician at Beijing Red Cross Chaoyang Hospital, a Capital Medical University affiliated hospital. Prior to moving to America, I was enrolled in graduate school studying Public Health at the prestigious Peking Union Medical College. I obtained a Master of Science in Computer Science and Information Systems at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville while also studying and preparing for her United States Medical Licensing Examinations (USMLE).
I worked as a research assistant at Washington University in St. Louis before starting residency in Internal Medicine at Texas Tech Health Science Center. I worked as an Internist in Dallas before starting my fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology at USC.
I previously worked at Comprehensive Blood and Cancer Center (CBCC), and Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles prior to working at CBCC, as hematologist and oncologist.
During the fellowship, my research project received The Fellow Research Award.
I am active involved in teaching residents in residency program affiliated UCLA and cancer educations for patients and their family.
