- I am board-certified in pediatric hospital medicine and general pediatrics. I graduated from UCLA School of Medicine and the University of Washington/Seattle Children's pediatric residency. I graduated from the University of Washington general academic pediatric fellowship and obtained an MPH in epidemiology.
I am Professor of Pediatrics, Vice Chair of Education, and Pediatric Residency Program Director at UC Davis. My research interests are in medical education - specifically, improving competency-based medical education and lifelong learning.
I am Associate Editor for Medical Education for Academic Pediatrics and Associate Editor for Pediatrics for Essential Evidence Plus. I am a member of the American Board of Pediatrics Education and Training Committee and member of the Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education Pediatric Review Committee.
