Summary
- My interest has steadily been evaluating and implementing surgical solutions for ocular diseases and defects. From my earliest career development in strabismus to my more recent interest in complex reconstructive surgery for ocular injury and surgical complications. We have entered a period in US medicine where our discounted services in the insurance paradigm can no longer truly meet the demanding needs of our ever more active patients. Optional advanced premium channel procedures and technologies have met this need and this now takes 75% of my time, rewarding me with a better patient experience, and superior results for those patients who understand the present limitations of insurance based surgery in ophthalmology.
