- Board-certified in adult psychiatry. My private practice emphasizes dynamic psychotherapy, with or without medication. I'm also a career-long psychiatric educator, both for psych residents at my local medical center, as well as for the public via my blog and other related activities. I served on a hospital ethics committee, and chaired the CME committee for 14 years. In the past I published psychotherapy research, and worked in public clinic and inpatient settings.
