Officially, I "retired" when I turned 65 years old in August 2022. Unofficially, I am taking a "gap year." I graduated from high school in 1975, and since then, until this fall, I have been on a path. I don't really want to be done with medicine, but stepping to the side of the path is a good thing. Update: in the fall of 2023, I joined CHRISTUS Children’s and Baylor College of Medicine.
