His current research interests are centered on understanding the role of methylation in the heritability of addiction through stress responses, aiming to elucidate the underlying mechanisms of substance use disorders.
Dr. Klein holds board certifications or eligibility from the American Board of Pediatrics, and the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics. He is licensed to practice medicine in Pennsylvania and holds a DEA registration.
In addition to his clinical and research roles, Dr. Klein is actively involved in professional and community service. He serves as a Board Member and Membership Committee Chair for the International Doctors of Alcoholics Anonymous (IDAA), where he leverages his personal recovery experience to support his colleagues.
