He completed his medical education and residency at the University of Wisconsin and Northwestern University, respectively, followed by a fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Kagen has rich experience in allergic rhinitis, asthma, urticaria, bee sting shock and has developed new desensitization technics. He founded the National Pollen Network (NPN) and KagenAir LLC, along with serving in the United States House of Representatives. He has published groundbreaking peer reviewed research studies and received multiple awards, including several U.S. patents, the Children’s Environmental Health Recognition Award and the Community Outreach Award from the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. He also created the first test yourself kit for HIV-AIDS and the first blood test for Lyme Disease in Wisconsin.
