Dr. Chang is currently a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, and has been full-time faculty at institutions such as Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and New York University School of Medicine. He has contributed to numerous publications on vaccine effectiveness and critical care medicine, and participated in numerous clinical trials related to sepsis, ARDS, and therapies affecting host response in COVID-19. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his teaching, having been nominated for awards such as the inpatient teaching award at UCLA and the Golden Apple Teaching Award at Rutgers-NJMS.
