Summary
- I serve as the Chief of Neurosurgical Oncology and Co-Director of the Penn Brain Tumor Center at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. My clinical focus is to obtain the best possible outcomes in patients presenting with complex brain tumors, harnessing the current technology of neuroimaging, computer-guided surgery, and brain mapping. I work with an expert team of nurses, nurse practitioners, residents and colleagues in Anesthesiology, Medical Oncology, Neurology, Neuroradiology, Neuropathology and Radiation Oncology. Current clinical trials include electrical field therapy, vaccine therapy, anti-angiogenesis therapy, and sophisticated brain mapping (connectomics).
