- Doctor Stephen Shamp is a board certified Radiation Oncologist. He received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame. He went on to receive his Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) from the University of South Florida with Phi Kappa Phi Honors. He then earned a Masters in Science in Physiology from the University of Cincinnati and was bestowed the Mark A Snowdon Award for outstanding academic achievements. He then obtained his Medical Doctorate (MD) from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine where he graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) honors. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Jewish Hospital of Cincinnati. Doctor Shamp then completed his residency training in Radiation Oncology at Case Western University Hospitals Cleveland, where he served as Chief Resident and received the RSNA Roentgen Resident Research Award. He is author and co-primary investigator of CASE1518 clinical trial of external beam radiation therapy combined with immunotherapy in non-small cell lung cancer, and has presented at numerous scientific conferences.
Doctor Shamp is married and lives with his wife and family in St. Petersburg, Florida. In his free time he enjoys traveling, hiking, biking, watersports, scuba diving, astronomy, photography, and working on his Jeep Wrangler.
