• Dr. Stephen Patt is a Family Medicine specialist based for four decades Santa Monica, CA, now living the good life in Providence, Rhode Island. He is working part-time with his 'California Volunteer' medical license (although to date, he has resisted going to the Ukraine for a nine month shift with Doctors Without Borders). He completed his medical education at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 1981. Following this, he undertook a Transitional Year internship at the University of California (San Francisco)/Fresno from 1981 to 1982 and completed his Family Medicine residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai/South Nassau from 1983 to 1985. He has received advanced training in trauma and life-saving techniques from the Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) program. Nowadays he mostly babysits his brilliant grandson, plays bluegrass mandolin, and tries to help others.
