Summary
- Our team has developed a technique that dramatically improves the protective benefits of colonoscopy against colorectal cancer by improving colon wall visualization and the precision of complete polypectomy. In an 11 year study of over 25,000 consecutive cases, our model achieved an 83% reduction in incidence and an 89% reduction in mortality from CRC. Most studies have demonstrated less than one-third this level of protection. More hands, more eyes, more time and the end result: improved protection.
