He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Missouri, Columbia School of Medicine in Columbia, MO. He earned his degree in Biology and Spanish from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX. In addition to his medical degree, Dr. Griffith earned his Juris Doctor at Mitchell Hamline College of Law in St. Paul, MN.

    Dr. Griffith completed his residency with the Department of Emergency Medicine at Wright State University in Dayton, OH where he also served as Chief Resident.

    Dr. Griffith has a passion for humanitarian work. He has gone on numerous trips to international locations such as Haiti, Africa, Guatemala and Afghanistan. He has assisted in the aftermath of numerous tragedies, including the 7.0 earthquake in Port-au-Prince where he assisted in amputations and provided trauma care at the regional hospital. In 2011, Space Coast Medicine recognized Dr. Griffith as “Humanitarian of the Year” for his disaster relief efforts in Haiti.

    An expert in trauma care and emergency preparedness, Dr. Griffith gives lectures on the topic both internationally and locally, including providing disaster planning and preparedness.

    Dr. Griffith is fluent in English and Spanish and can speak some French Creole and Ewe. He is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians - International, the American Academy of Emergency Medicine, the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine and the American Medical Association. He remains passionate for serving the less fortunate populations and people in their greatest time of need.

    In his personal time, Dr. Griffith interest and hobbies include general aviation, scuba diving and traveling.
