He completed his medical degree at New York University School of Medicine in 1970 and furthered his training with internship and residency in Pediatrics at the University of Colorado and the University of Arizona. He completed his fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center. Dr. Golden also holds an Executive MBA from Rutgers Graduate School of Management. His research includes studies on rapid detection techniques for Group B Streptococci and Escherichia coli, as well as bacteriologic assessments related to neonatal care, with several publications in reputable journals.
He has had a distinguished military career, serving in multiple branches of the armed forces and retired as a Colonel in the USAF. He is now Commodore of the Presidio Yacht Club located at Ft. Baker in Sausalito, CA and is founder of the Presidio Uniformed Services Foundation--a charitable foundation dedicated to the support of military families and veterans.
