Summary
- I am a board certified psychiatrist, and have had the opportunity thru the years to have been full time initially in my career to work in academic centers including Harbor-UCLA Medical Center where I set up and directed a three day locked crisis center and also worked at McLean Hospital where I was director of a residential and day care treatment center. Following those positions I worked in two community hospitals, doing both inpatient work with an outpatient practice. The first hospital had an adult inpatient unit and the second hospital had a geriatric unit, where I was an attendant for 10 years. From 2003 thru April,2018, I had a full time office practice. Since then I have maintained a very small private practice one day a week and have worked as a locum tenens. This past summer (2019) I worked in Montana doing a locum tenens working inpatient at Montana State Hospital. It was a wonderful experience both working and exploring the State's National Parks and other scenic areas. One of my favorite experiences was the Beartooth Scenic Highway, and being in Montana especially during the summer months was a most wonderful experience, the best summer I have had in many years.
