Summary
- I am a family medicine physician, trained at University of California, San Diego for medical school and residency. Practiced with the Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group, as an in the trenches primary care physician. While doing my clinical work, I had the chance to help lead a transformative culture change effort called the Sharp Experience. I became a student of what prompts clinicians to love what they do and be the kind of clinicians we want to be. Wrote a couple of books, Practicing Excellence and Engaging Physicians to help others tap the power of the fully engaged clinician.
Next founded The Clinician Experience Project, now serving over 20,000 clinicians on the skills to help support our capacity to connect to the patients we serve, collaborate with our teammates beside us, and lead to get the very best of those around us.
Our team is out to transform the clinician experience, a fundamental requirement for all the activities we need to get done in healthcare...
