Summary

• I am a family nurse practitioner with experience in hospital medicine, internal medicine, hematology/oncology, blood and marrow transplant, cellular immunotherapy, triage and acute, critical and urgent care. I am interested in working for individuals and companies who value excellence, evidence-based practice and patient/family centered care.
  
  I have worked for two different Magnet recognized hospitals and I am certified through the ANCC. I most recently worked for the BMT-CI department at Moffitt as their nocturnist. Frequently, I was the sole in-house provider for this department and was responsible for the care of all the inpatient BMT-CI patients as well as triaging and treating the outpatients. I admitted, transferred and discharged patients as appropriate. Prior to working at Moffitt, I was a hospitalist for UT Medical Center. I admitted, transferred and completed consults on patients with various diagnoses. Also, as a hospitalist I was responsible for inpatient call coverage for up to 300 patients per night. I am BLS and ACLS certified and I have much experience with treating patients during life threatening events.
  
  I am dedicated to my profession and value continued education and evidence-based practices. I am an avid learner and graduated from my MSN program with a 4.0. I value teamwork and I am aware of the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration. My co-workers have described me as dependable, helpful, knowledgeable, hardworking, and composed on peer evaluations.
