Patient treatment is customized to meet each person’s unique needs. Although my approach is highly supportive and empathic, I incorporate a highly interactive cognitively focused dialogue, and behavioral therapy is utilized to help my patients explore more adaptive ways of reacting to life’s challenges. When necessary, patients are referred out for medication evaluation and management, and I work collaboratively with the physicians involved in their care.
