Summary
- I have been a general Pediatrician for over 35 years, my career spanning many areas of clinical practice from general pediatrics to hospitalist medicine. Over the course of my career I have developed a passion for children with complex medical conditions and behavioral health, and recently completed a training to provide virtual autism evaluations with the Vanderbilt-Kennedy Center for Autism in Nashville.
Upon resigning from full-time practice in the fall of 2024 (we're "re-treading", not "re-tiring") I am splitting my time between office-based and virtual pediatrics, while growing my autism evaluation practice as much as possible - my enduring love of Pediatrics drives me to continue to practice for many years to come.
I am married to a Clinical Psychologist, have two grown sons and two young grandchildren. In our spare time my husband and I hike with our "Carolina Dog" Evie, kayak and just take walks through the woods and farm land near our log home in the Shenandoah Valley. I also love to cook, read, spend time with our many musical friends and traveling whenever possible.
