Summary

  • I practice full time Occupational Medicine for my employer, treating fellow employees, consulting with managers, and participating in emergency planning and preparation. We do a lot of Preventive Health and Wellness Programs, so I work with a diverse team. I serve on the Institutional Biosafety Committee which gets me in touch with the scientists doing all kinds of exciting research. My practice is overwhelmingly clinical, but I help managers with difficult or ill employees frequently, and rarely have been asked to consult on some of the science projects here, which is really fun! The most recent presentation I gave was a workshop on "Preparing a Wilderness Survival Kit: the First 24 Hours."
I am Board Certified in Internal Medicine, but Occupational Medicine is my niche, and my passion.
