Stanley Skaer, MD is a thoracic surgeon based in Eureka, KS, with a subspeciality in cardiovascular surgery. He completed his medical education at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 1965, followed by his internship in internal medicine and a residency in general surgery at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and residency in thoracic surgery. Dr. Skaer's contributions to the field have been recognized with a Fellow honor from the American College of Surgeons and American College of Thoracic Surgery. After years of surgery private practice and later with the Wichita Clinic he retired in 2000 and works in farming and ranching in Greenwood County, Kansas.
