- Stacey Folk, MD has long been one of Denver's most highly regarded board-certified plastic surgeons. She has been voted as one of 5280's Top Doctors for 14 years for her outstanding work in aesthetic surgery of the face, breasts, and body. Dr. Folk's ability to communicate and partner with each patient in an authentic and honest way sets her apart as one of Denver's most respected and sought-after plastic surgeons.
Dr. Folk specializes in surgical cosmetic procedures of the breast, body and face as well as less invasive alternatives including medically supervised skin care, injectable treatments, laser skin rejuvenation and body contouring. Her reconstructive focus is on the surgical repair of congenital cleft lip and palate deformities. Dr. Folk considers herself lucky to have found her true calling in life through her profession. She feels that plastic surgery comes most naturally to her, and she is passionate about her work.
Dr. Folk grew up in Denver and majored in Psychology at the University of Colorado in Boulder. She then received her M.D. from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, graduating with Honors in 1991. She performed her surgical internship at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, where she was named intern of the year, and was accepted into the integrated Plastic Surgery Residency at Loma Linda University Medical School, graduating in 1997. Dr. Folk held a number of academic positions before opening her private practice in Denver. In addition to her private practice, Dr. Folk is the Chief of the Division of Plastic Surgery at Rose Medical Center. She has volunteered her time doing Reconstructive Plastic Surgery on multiple occasions in the Philippines and South America. Dr. Folk continues to serve as a supportive mentor for students and young physicians.
