Summary

• Dr. Sridhar Yaratha has over two decades of psychiatry experience and serves as a psychiatrist with Gateway Homes, which he joined in 2009. During his tenure, Dr. Sridhar Yaratha has specialized in treating adults with chronic mental illnesses in an outpatient setting.
  
  Throughout this time, he has also worked with several other organizations, such as the VA Medical Center. As director of inpatient psychiatry, Dr. Yaratha oversaw all psychiatric services while being a member of several committees. While at the center, he also served as an assistant chief of mental health and attending psychiatrist, among other roles.
  
  At the same time, Dr. Sridhar Yaratha worked with the Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center as an associate professor, where he spent three academic years. While there, he received the Virginia Commonwealth University Health Systems Psychiatry Resident Teaching Award.
  
  Alongside the American Medical Association and American Psychiatric Association, Dr. Yaratha is a member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine. He also supports the Richmond Ballet and the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.
