- I am an enthusiastic clinician scientist with more than 10 years of clinical and experimental research experience.
I have been involved in patient care in both primary care and urgent care settings.
My major research areas of interest are disease modeling and inflammation and oxidative stress in cardiovascular disorders.
I have had a full scholarship for a one year certificate in applied biostatistics from Harvard Medical School.
Additionally, I have fulfilled two Research fellowships at PERFUSE study group, Division of Cardiology, Department of Medicine, BIDMC, Harvard Medical School and
Endocrinology and Metabolism Research Institute, Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) wherein I was responsible for study designing, data collection, statistical interpretation of findings and drafting articles.
I have published more than 40 peer-reviewed articles which were cited more than 480 times (h-index: 14, i10-index: 17). My research has been published in several leading journals such as Frontiers in Physiology, Echocardiography, Pediatric Cardiology, Respiration, Clinical and Experimental Rheumatology, Clinical Toxicology, Journal of Diabetes and Metabolic Disorders, and Medical Hypotheses. I am also review for several medical journals such as BMJ case reports.
