Summary

• Dr. Sneha Mantri is a neurologist in Durham, NC. She received her medical degree from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, followed by neurology residency at the University of Virginia and movement disorders fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. She has been on faculty at Duke since 2018. She specializes in movement disorders, including Parkinson's disease and atypical parkinsonism, and is experienced in deep brain stimulation programming, botulinum toxin injections, and and other advanced therapies. Additionally, she is the Director of Medical Humanities at Duke University and developed a new longitudinal track at Duke University School of Medicine for students interested in health humanities, ethics, and equity. Her research interests include interdisciplinary care for movement disorders, narrative medicine, and pragmatic/real-world application of digital technology. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, where she serves on the Ethics, Law, and Humanities Committee, as well as the Movement Disorders Society and the International Association of Parkinsonism and Related Disorders.
