- I am Board certified Neonatal Perinatal Medicine specialist and a Board certified Pediatrician. Emeritus Professor of Pediatrics and Obstetrics & Gynecology and Chief Emeritus of Neonatology at Georgetown University Medical Center and Medstar Georgetown University Hospital. Trained at University of Maryland and Georgetown University Medical Center in Pediatrics and Neonatal Perinatal Medicine. In addition to patient care and teaching my research interests are in infant nutrition, neonatal infection, reduction in Infant mortality and BioEthics. Very involved in Global Health especially that of maternal and neonatal/infant health in Ghana, Haiti, Central America, Asia and other countries. Currently involved in COVID19 research in USA and abroad.
