Summary
- I am a triple board-certified neurologist. These include Neurology, and the subspecialties of Neuromuscular Medicine and Clinical Neurophysiology.
I am also certified through examination in Electrodiagnostic Medicine through the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine.
My particular interest is Electrodiagnostic Medicine (EMGs), Single Fiber EMGs (SFEMGs), and quantitative motor unit potential analysis.
I’ve performed over thirty thousand EMGs and personally trained over 100 neurolgists and physiatrists in EMGs, some of whom are now training other doctors at major university medical centers.
I’ve had the fortune of training under some of the foremost world authorities in EMG and SFEMG, both in the United States and abroad.
My professional academic interests include writing medical articles in peer-reviewed medical journals.
I also enjoy teaching clinical neurophysiology to residents and fellows as it relates to Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and expanding the clinical role of computer-assisted technologies in EMGs, many of these techniques I learned abroad.
I am one of a handful of neurologists who perform Single Fiber EMG in California, and had the great fortune of honing my skill under the tutelage of the world’s authority in this technique; namely, the individual who invented it.
