Summary
- I am a board-certified general surgeon and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and the Royal College of Surgeons Canada (FRCSC). Key areas of interest include laparoscopic robotic surgery, laparoscopic inguinal and ventral hernia surgery, foregut / anti-reflux surgery, colorectal surgery, and endocrine surgery. Additional interests include clinical informatics, data acquisition / analytics and medical staff leadership. I formerly served as the Medical Director of Informatics and Quality at CCMC, and currentIy serve as the Chair of the Facility Executive Committee at Clovis Community Medical Center. Additionally, I serve as Medical Director of Robotic Surgery as well as the Program Director of both Centers of Excellence for Robotic Surgery and Hernia Surgery at CCMC. I am passionate about total practice robotic surgery and serve as a key opinion leader for Intuitive Surgical. CCMC is a designated Epicenter for robotic surgery and regularly hosts surgeons from near and far for case observations. I am grateful for the ongoing opportunities to lead training courses in robotic surgery and also enjoy proctoring surgeons in this expanding area of surgical practice.
