Summary

• Shuping Ge, MD, is the System Chair of Pediatric and Adult Congenital Cardiology for the Geisinger Heart and Vascular Institute, as well as Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine, Pediatrics, and Obstetrics and Gynecology in Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine.
  As a cardiologist, Dr. Ge provides care to fetuses, children, and adults with congenital and acquired heart diseases.
  Dr. Ge’s clinical interests and accomplishments include Pediatric Cardiology, Cardiovascular Imaging, Fetal Cardiology, and Preventive Cardiology. He practices compassionate and evidence-based care for fetuses, children, and adults with congenital and acquired heart diseases. He has been selected as Top Doctor by Castle Connolly, Philadelphia Magazine, U.S. News and World Report, and other top publications.
  His research interests include fetal congenital cardiovascular disease using computational flow dynamics and 3D/4D fetal echocardiography, and prevention of cardiovascular disease in children by computer-interpretable guideline, clinical decision supporting system, and artificial intelligence. He has published over 250 abstracts, books, chapters, and manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals.
  Dr. Ge been involved in many local, national, and international medical, academic, and advocacy associations and committees. He has leadership training at the Leadership Research Institute. One of his career goals is to build “good to great” congenital and acquired cardiac programs.
