His current clinical research involves development of a protocol for treatment of the neuropsychiatric and neurological symptoms of post-streptococcal autoimmune encephalitis. Current multidisciplinary research at Methodist Hospital includes treatment of Post-infectious Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Syndrome (PANS) in teens and adults with medications, antibiotics, extra-capsular adenotonsillectomy and subsequent intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) therapy.
