- Dr. Dua is a board certified physiatrist who received her medical degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. She pursued an Internal Medicine preliminary internship at the Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and then completed residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Temple University/MossRehab in Philadelphia, PA. After residency, Dr. Dua returned to the Allegheny Health Network to complete an ACGME accredited Pain Medicine fellowship where she was trained in minimally invasive, maximally effective treatment interventions.
Dr. Dua has extensive training in a variety of fluoroscopically-guided interventional spine procedures including epidural steroid injections, nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablations, and spinal cord stimulator trials to address acute and chronic back and neck pain. She also is skilled in peripheral joint and myofascial trigger point injections. Her goal is to integrate these interventional skills with her physical medicine and rehabilitation background to implement a multimodal, patient-centered, individualized approach to any pain issue.
