Summary

  • I am a board-certified Gynecologic Oncologist and currently serve as the Division Chief for the Gynecology Oncology service at the University of Michigan. Additionally, I hold the position of Director of Gynecologic Oncology Initiatives at the Michigan Oncology Quality Consortium (MOQC), which is a statewide network dedicated to improving quality in oncology care.

My medical journey began at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi, India, where I obtained my medical degree. Following that, I pursued my residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. To specialize further, I completed a fellowship in Gynecology Oncology at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin. In 2014, I joined the faculty of the University of Michigan. Alongside my medical training, I also earned a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Michigan Stephen M. Ross School of Business.

With over ten years of clinical experience, I have actively participated in numerous Quality Improvement Projects within the Division of Gynecologic Oncology, both at the national level and across Michigan. I have authored more than 75 peer-reviewed manuscripts. Furthermore, I have introduced changes in our health system to enhance surgical outcomes, reduce the cost of care, and implement patient-centered care delivery systems.
