- Dr. Ravan practices integrative adult psychiatry combining evidence based psychotherapy, psychopharmacology, and complementary/alternative interventions with the goal of providing comprehensive, well rounded, and individually focused care. After graduating from the Chicago Medical School, he completed an internship in internal medicine at Yale-Greenwich Hospital and adult psychiatry training at Columbia University where he continues to teach and supervise. His treatment model is collaborative and utilizes a variety of psychotherapeutic modalities including psychoanalysis, psychodynamic psychotherapy, interpersonal therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
