Summary

• Dr. Ravan practices integrative adult psychiatry combining evidence based psychotherapy, psychopharmacology, and complementary/alternative interventions with the goal of providing comprehensive, well rounded, and individually focused care. After graduating from the Chicago Medical School, he completed an internship in internal medicine at Yale-Greenwich Hospital and adult psychiatry training at Columbia University where he continues to teach and supervise. His treatment model is collaborative and utilizes a variety of psychotherapeutic modalities including psychoanalysis, psychodynamic psychotherapy, interpersonal therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). His office is located in SoHo.
  
  His specialties include the treatment of generalized anxiety, social anxiety, panic, depression, phobias, ADHD, OCD, performance anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma, grief, relationship issues, work/school difficulties, and life transitions such as career changes, divorces/breakups, and childbirth/adoption.
