  • Shervin Badkhshan, M.D., M.B.A, is a genitourinary reconstructive surgeon and Clinical Assistant Professor of Urology at the NYU Long Island School of Medicine. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Rochester and completed medical training at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical sciences, while concurrently earning his Master’s in Business Administration at the University of Buffalo School of Management. Following his graduate degrees, he went on to complete his urology training at the Jacobs School of Medicine’s Department of Urology. He then completed a prestigious one-year fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern in Urologic Trauma, Reconstruction, and Prosthetics. Dr. Badkhshan’s clinical practice is focused on men’s health, cancer survivorship, and reconstructive urology. He counsels patients on and performs penile implant surgery for erectile dysfunction, male urethral sling and artificial urinary sphincter implantation for stress urinary incontinence, revision surgery for urologic prosthetics, penile reconstruction for Peyronie’s disease, and genital reconstruction for complex deformities, and urethral and ureteral reconstruction for stricture disease. He is an active member of the Sexual Medicine Society of North America, Society of Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgeons, and American Urological Association. He has published numerous articles and given presentations at local, national, and international urologic meetings.
