Sher-Lu Pai, MD, FASA, SAMBA-F, is an anesthesiologist based in Jacksonville, FL, specializing in perioperative care with expertise in transplant anesthesiology and perioperative medicine. She completed her medical training with a residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in major solid organ transplantation anesthesia at Baylor University Medical Center. Dr. Pai has held positions as Director of the Preoperative Evaluation Clinic and Consultant at Mayo Clinic since 2014 and 2011, respectively. Her research contributions include publications on perioperative care and liver transplantation, and she is actively involved in clinical trials for intraoperative vasoplegic syndrome treatment. She has received several awards, including recognition for her contributions to anesthesiology and transplantation. She also currently serves as on the Florida Society of Anesthesiologists as Treasurer and Executive Board member.
