• Dr. Sheikh Parviz is an infectious disease/internal medicine physician in Silver Spring/Rockville MD. He received his medical degree from Aga Khan Medical College and has been in practice 21 years. He also speaks multiple languages, including Hindi and Urdu. He specializes in geriatric medicine and infectious disease and is experienced in infectious disease, geriatrics, abnormal wounds/wound healing, epidemiology, and telemedicine. He has 5 publications and over 50 citings. His initial work as a young medical student and researcher was looking at HIV among drugs addicts in Karachi and dogbite/rabies epidemiology in Pakistan. This was followed publication as second author in an international collaborative of saline researchers (Belgium, US, Italy, India, Pakistan) of evidence of saline studies against COVID-19.
