Summary

  • My passion for educating physicians, relaying clinical knowledge and interpreting real-world data/real-world evidence has been consistent throughout my pharmacy career. My most recent role as a Medical Outcomes and Analytics Director with Pfizer provided me opportunity to educate stakeholders on real-world evidence while engaging them around clinical and economic interventions to positively impact patient outcomes. Working in this position allowed me to leverage pharmacoeconomic models, outcomes tools, and real-world data to engage key stakeholders. My ability to manage a significant volume of projects developed in a remote environment, while prioritizing tasks and demonstrating excellent judgement skills was vital to my success.

Prior to my transition to Pfizer, I was immersed for over 20 years in academia. My alignment as the sole pharmacy faculty member on a team of over 30 family medicine physicians provided unique positioning to engage in deep therapeutics discussions and appreciate thought processes employed when making objective clinical decisions. I provided therapeutics expertise on multiple interdisciplinary teams to improve management of patients with coagulation disorders, pulmonary disease, cardiovascular disease, cardiometabolic syndrome, diabetes and HIV/AIDs. Within this primary care environment, I conducted and published original research targeting at improving clinical, educational and behavioral outcomes. Another very rewarding role was evaluating primary literature and educating physicians and advanced practice providers about best practices in a concise, scientifically sound, cost-conscious manner. One of my strengths is my ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations; enhancing decision-making and optimizing healthcare delivery. My board certifications speak to my willingness to learn and dedication to continued professional development.
