Summary

I am an Emergency Medicine resident beginning my final year of training and looking at career opportunities for when I graduate in July 2024. I trained at Garnet Health (Orange Regional Medical Center) in Middletown, New York, a 55-bed trauma center with over 80,000 annual visits. I have trained at a program where we not only see a high volume of patients, 2-2.5 per hour as a PGY2 and 3+ per hour as a PGY3, but also see many high acuity patients - being the regional medical center for several hundred square miles for rural and suburban NY, NJ, and PA. I also trained 4 months in level 1 trauma centers Westchester Medical Center and Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, NY as well as 6 weeks in critical access emergency departments in the Catskills, so I have experience working in the whole spectrum of settings between intercity level 1 trauma center and rural critical access hospital.
