Dr. Sharon DeMocker is a family medicine physician based in Washington, DC, with subspecialties in complementary and integrative medicine. She worked with Dr. Andrew Weil in a clerkship during residency, then was invited to participate in his fellowship at the University of Arizona’s Center for Integrative Medicine. Residency training was with the University of Virginia Medical Center, after graduating from the Medical University of South Carolina.

Currently, she serves as a physician at the GW Center for Integrative Medicine, following several years as the medical director of the War Related Illness and Injury Study Center at the Washington, DC Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Dr. DeMocker has experience in integrative medicine and has authored a publication on integrative medicine in geriatric and palliative care.
