Dr. Shannon Payseur is Board Certified in both Family Medicine and Preventive Medicine and practicing physician in Addison, TX . She holds a masters degree in nutrition and a certified medical examiner for divers with a subspecialty in Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine. Dr. Payseur serves as Medical Director of the Center for Wound & Hyperbarics department located in Addison, Texas for Methodist Hospital for Surgery. She received her medical degree from Meharry Medical College and is a Fellow of the colleges of both Wound Care and Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society. She speaks both English and Spanish. Her passions include limb salvage, treatment of hard to heal wounds, advances in bioelectric signaling in wound healing, and the intimate role of nutrition and recovery
